1. Who We Are

Wayht is a trading name of Tyler Hammond, a sole trader based in England and Wales.

For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, Tyler Hammond is the Data Controller.

2. Data We Collect

Wayht is designed to collect minimal personal data.

A. Account Data (Sign in with Apple)

  • Apple-generated unique identifier
  • Email address (if shared)

We do not access Apple ID passwords.

B. Workout Data

  • Exercises
  • Workout logs
  • Performance metrics
  • Timestamps

Stored:

  • Locally on your device
  • Securely in your iCloud account via CloudKit

C. Payments

If you purchase Wayht Pro:

  • Apple processes your payment.
  • We do not receive your full payment details.

D. Diagnostics

We do not use:

  • Advertising SDKs
  • Third-party analytics
  • Crash reporting tools

Apple may collect anonymised diagnostic data under its own policies.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process data under:

  • Contractual necessity (providing the App)
  • Legitimate interests (service functionality)
  • Legal obligations (where required)

4. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored:

  • On your device
  • In your personal iCloud account

We do not operate independent external servers.

Security of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s infrastructure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

Data is processed by:

  • Apple (authentication, CloudKit storage, payments)

Apple acts as an independent data controller under its own privacy terms.

6. International Users

Wayht is available worldwide.

If you use the App outside the UK, your data may be processed internationally via Apple’s infrastructure.

7. Data Retention

Data remains stored:

  • Until deleted by you
  • Until you remove the App
  • Or until you remove data via iCloud settings

8. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Request erasure
  • Restrict processing
  • Object to processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office

9. Children

Wayht is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Artificial Intelligence & Automated Processing

Future updates may introduce AI-driven features that:

  • Analyse workout trends
  • Generate summaries
  • Provide training suggestions

We will:

  • Disclose AI functionality clearly
  • Update this policy as needed
  • Ensure compliance with UK GDPR

We do not currently conduct automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
